Looking for a unique planter box idea for your yard? Check these awesome mosaic cinder block planter ideas. Awesome, but easy to do. Promise.

Gardening is never done here At Muse Ranch. I’ve been battling gophers in my herb bed. It’s a losing battle, so going forward everything will be planted in raised planters. Mr. Muse has a whole bunch of cinder blocks I can use, but…

This is Muse Ranch, after all, so I have to get creative with cement blocks. So, I’ve been searching the Internet looking for ideas and mosaic cinders blocks have won my heart. I’m sharing what I’ve found, including some how-to info, too, just in case you get inspired to create your own decorative cinder block planter.

Colorful stained glass can be broken (be careful, please) and cut to make a variety of mosaic design. Also, a variety of glass bead for an even more unique look.

10- Broken Ceramic and Dishes Can Also Be Used for Mosaic Designs

If you want to add a Shabby Chic look to your garden, try covering cinder blocks with bits and pieces of broken dishes.I came across this idea for using three-dimensional ceramic pieces in a mosaic design. I think I might give this a try on my cinder block planter.

11 – Paint A Mosaic Design

No time for breaking, cutting, gluing, grouting? Then why not just paint a design on cinder blocks to create a planter. That’s what this home owner did and think it looks fabulous.

There are so many ideas to choose from here, I just may have to create more than one mosaic cinder block panter. Decisions… decision!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you come back for more tips, hacks and inspiration At Muse Ranch.
