Dr. Oz’s 3-Day Souping Detox
Dr. Oz is definately on this bandwagon. Not only did he present it on his show, but he came up with a 3 day detox plan. The group that he test his plan with lost and average of four pounds in the 3 days. If you’re intereted here are his tips:
- 6 soup meals a day
- 1 berry and yogurt soup for breakfast
- 4 vegetable and protein soups for lunch, dinner, and snacks
- 1 dessert soup in the evening
You can mix and match a variety of ingredients as you like using with a vegetable soup base made of vegetable stock, tomatoes, shiitakes mushrooms, broccoli and artichoke hearts. (not to be used with the breakfast or dessert soup, obviously.)
They add any non-starchy veggies to the base, along with some proteins, fats, and gains (about 3 ounces)
