Pho (pronounced Fuh) is a popular Vietnamese street food that combines a fragrant and light broth with chewy rice noodles, and a variety of meat or poultry. Those bowls are then topped with a variety of garnishes. There are as many pho recipes as there are pho cooks.
While this soup is a mainstay in Vietnam, it’s gaining popularity here. But there’s a problem. The secret to good Pho is the broth. And when it’s made traditionally, it takes ALL DAY!
Enter the InstaPot (or any other pressure cooker). The broth that used to take all day to melt the flavors can be accomplished an hour or so in an instant pot or pressure cooker. I’ve gathered tutorials from three of my favorite YouTube cooks so you can enjoy this wonderful dish, too. You’ll learn how to make Pho with beef, chicken and there’s a paleo version (which is really all about the type of noodles used).
