A Beef Pho Recipe Really is Fast and Easy

This simple beef noodle soup is called Pho Bo in Vietnam. The broth is what makes this soup so good and it’s infused with lots of aromatic spices that you wouldn’t normally associate with a soup. Toasting those spices really brings out the flavor.

Tip: Star Anise is an important ingredient in Pho, but it might be hard to find in some local markets (but you can find it here). You can substitute fennel for it (that what I had to do the first time) or use Chinese Five Spice Powder or any other anise seed.
