Katherine here. But my friends and family call me Kat!

I’m so glad you could stop by. First, a little about me.

Mr. Muse and I do live on a ranch… but is not filled with cattle or horses. We live on 40 acres north of Los Angeles. Not so high that we have a view of the ocean (but we do have fields and fields of poppies to view), but we do have elbow room. We also have kidlets in and out of the ranch, including the adult children variety as well and grandkidlets. It’s all nice.

Mr. Muse still works… only for a little while longer, I hope. But I quit the rat race. And it feels so good. Owning land has always been a dream and we’re finally making it happen (well, us and the bank). The house is a little run down and the outbuilding… well, you don’t want to know. But this ranch is our muse. And it’s helping us move forward to and inspired, and a better life.

That takes work, however, and I’m always on the looking for ideas to ways to get things done around here… but hopefully not spending tons of money or time. I  troll the Internet looking for tips, tricks, and hacks for just about everything. And I like to write about those. See, in that former cubicle life I had, I was a technical writer. So researching and writing is what I do.

I determined to fill up the pages of At Muse Ranch with lots of useful ideas, co please come back often… or stop by to see what going on at one the social networks where I also hang out. I really want Muse Ranch to inspire you, too.
